Pictures from September 20, 2003, Cumberland Island field trip.  The first picture is Dr. Fred Rich from Georgia Southern University discussing the Georgia barrier islands.  The second and third pictures are AIPG members and Georgia Southern University geology and geography students in front of the Dungeness.  The fourth picture is the sand dunes overlooking the marsh.

of practicing geologists and to advocate on behalf of the profession.

AIPG represents the professional interests of all practicing geoscientists in every discipline.
It's advocacy & efforts are focused on the promotion of the role of geology and geologists in society.
